It’s not everyday you get the opportunity to shoot amazing food on the Abrolhos Islands and yet, in May 2022, my team at Spectacle Media and I did just that.

In late 2021, Shot By Thom worked alongside the team at Trilogy Advertising & Marketing to produce a bunch of fun collateral for Broome’s local spirit distillery, Moontide.

A highlight for me each year is attending WA’s Gourmet Escape event. For those that don’t know, the Gourmet Escape is an extraordinary culinary event that takes place in our South West Wine Region, showcasing premium produce and wine with celebrated culinary talent.

Shinju Matsuri, also know as “The Festival of the Pearl”, is an annual event held in Broome WA that I’ve been lucky enough to attend for a number of years alongside my friends at Heyder and Shears.

Whilst I’ve been lucky enough to work on a number of very exciting photography projects over the years, a stand out in my career remains my visit to Bullo River Station in the vast countryside of the Northern Territory to capture content for their marketing initiatives.
